If your spray bar is producing a weak or reduced flow, the following steps will help you diagnose and resolve the issue:
Step 1: Check for Blockages or Damage
Remove and inspect the spray bar and all connecting parts.
Clean out any debris or algae build-up that may be obstructing the water flow.
Ensure the spray bar is facing downward towards the water for proper circulation.
Step 2: Inspect Your Pipework
Cut the hose to the appropriate length – avoid using more than necessary.
Long or looped pipework can cause a noticeable drop in flow rate.
Check for kinks, sharp bends, or loose connections that may restrict water movement. Flow rate naturally decreases with each additional metre of hose, so keeping runs short and direct is ideal.
Step 3: Replace Worn Parts if Needed
If your filter uses perishable components (e.g., impellers, seals, O-rings), worn parts can reduce performance.
You can find replacement parts for your unit here.
