If you need to connect smaller hosing (14mm) to your EF External Filter Booster, you’ll need to adjust the tap fittings. Follow these simple steps to ensure a secure fit:
Step-by-Step Guide
Start by identifying the tap supplied in the box. It comes with an additional adjustment piece (see image manual or product guide).
Unscrew the top fitting .
Remove this top fitting and store it safely with your aquarium spare parts for future use.
Next, unscrew the longer nozzle attached to the tap.
Remove the nozzle completely, which will expose the o-ring beneath.
Finally, attach the smaller adjustment piece included with your filter. This allows you to securely connect 14mm hosing to the booster.
Final Tip
Make sure all fittings are firmly tightened and the o-ring is seated correctly to prevent leaks. Always check the hose connections before operating your filter.
